January 2014 Renovation Report

[slideshow_deploy id=’324‘]

The renovation crews from Tri-State Construction have made holes in all floors for support beams, added framework to create a hallway on the top floor so that the library can lock their section of the top floor while the building is open, also HVAC tubing has been ran, and electrical work is also being done.

The room on the east (not pictured) that used to be a bathroom will be turned into an elevator lobby, and the restroom and adjoining room on the west end (also not pictured) will be converted in his and her restrooms. A room toward the east will also be turned into the library’s office. They have also installed framework to create a drop down ceiling, leaving space next to the windows to allow natural light to enter the room. A room adjoining the library bookspace will serve a children’s room.

Check back next month for another report! Thank you for your donations and please always keep supporting us in donations!
