Dining with the Past 2014

An audience of over 100 people attended the 2014 edition of ‘Dining with the Past.’

On Thursday, October 9th, the Olive Hill Historical Society put on a slightly shorter performance of ‘Dining with the Past,’ a play that we done last year. A group on the ‘Olive Hill Historic Treasures Tour,’ ended their evening being served dinner and a performance of ‘Dining with the Past,’ and original play written by members of the Historical Society with Diane Greene directing. From the beginnings of Olive Hill, the Railroad, Brickyard, our high points, and our disasters we’re performed in front an audience of over 100 people that attended.

The play ended out with Debbie Harman and Sasha Colette performing different songs, and the cast coming together singing ‘Amazing Grace.’

This Historic Treasures Tour was a partnership between the Olive Hill Historical Society and EKFEAT (Eastern Kentucky Foothills Eco-Agritourism).
