  4. 4.When I'm not busy working dyes, paints, and fabric, I love to create one-of-a-kind freeform beaded bracelets. I start making bead soup by dumping a various beads in a pile until I get the colors and shapes I love. Then I start with a peyote stitch base and create as I go. What could be more fun! This bracelet features copper metallic glass beads and a copper toggle clasp.

 
 
Cathy will be teaching a class on creating Artist Trading Cards.  These are miniature 2 1/2” X 3 1/2” mixed media cards that can have many applications such as jewelry, ornaments, scrap booking, and just a very unique way of expressing yourself as well as recycling.  The techniques in creating artist cards are as varied and unlimited as your imagination allows you to be.  A wide array of materials can be used - rubber stamping, and papers or cloth materials of various textures and color.  So bring whatever you have on hand and a needle and thread.
